Old Town, a Hyatt, Swissôtel, Hotel Oro Verde, and Casa Gangotena are different neighborhoods and different buildings. From Mariscal Sucre (UIO) they are the same transfer product: anywhere in Quito, $100 prepaid, one way, in a luxury SUV. You do not pay a separate “Old Town fare” or a hotel surcharge because the property is well known.

One city rate, several hotels

The $100 rate is any hotel or address in Quito city. On this site that list of examples has always included Hyatt, Oro Verde, Swissôtel, and Casa Gangotena. A city-center Wyndham, if that is where you are staying, is this same $100 rate. It is not the $50 airport hotel. Anywhere in Cumbayá is the separate $75 valley rate.

The zone page is Quito airport to anywhere in Quito. The three prices together are on the rates board.

Casa Gangotena is the Old Town example: a hotel in the historic center. The other names are city hotels in Quito’s modern districts. You do not need a different booking path for each brand. Enter the hotel name and address. If you are unsure whether a property is in the city, in Cumbayá, or is the Tababela airport hotel, email book@uiotransfers.com before you pay. That is the only contact.

How long it takes from UIO

Plan on about 45–60 minutes from the terminal to a Quito address once you are in the car. The published city window is about 40–60 minutes. A hotel on the nearer side of town can beat a hotel deep in the historic center. We do not publish a separate minute count for each property, and we do not charge a different price when the drive runs long or short inside the city.

Night arrivals are often toward the shorter end, because the highway out of Tababela is quieter. A late afternoon can use the hour. Immigration and bags sit on top of the drive, so do not tell anyone you will be at the hotel 45 minutes after landing. The distance, including Cumbayá and the airport hotel, is in how far Quito airport is.

Old Town and the other neighborhoods

If the point of the trip is the historic center, base yourself there and read the Old Town guide for what to walk once you have slept. The streets are steep, the center is worth the time, and the first hour is a bad time to haul bags from a bus stop. A door-to-door car is the arrival; the walking starts at the hotel.

La Mariscal and the hotels clustered with the dining streets are the same $100 drive from UIO. The neighborhood note is La Mariscal. Swissôtel, Oro Verde, and a city Hyatt fall under that city transfer even when they are not in the historic center. We are not going to invent a street address for each brand here. Use the address on your hotel confirmation, and expect the city rate.

Altitude is the other Old Town detail. Central Quito is commonly cited at about 9,350 feet (2,850 meters). The airport is lower, in the Tababela valley, so the drive is also a climb. Take the first evening slowly. The practical version is what the altitude feels like on arrival.

What is included, and who fits in the SUV

The $100 is prepaid in USD. It covers the luxury SUV, a licensed airport-authorized driver, tolls, parking, a name-sign meeting in the arrivals hall, and flight tracking. Wait time caused by a late flight is included. Cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup.

Each SUV takes a maximum of 4 passengers. For 5–8 people, add a second SUV at twice the city rate ($200 for the pair, one way). That is the same rule at $50 and at $75; only the destination price changes. Child seats, if you are traveling with small children, are added when you book — see the family transfer note.

Book at least three days ahead. Same-day pickup is not offered. Put the flight number on the booking so the driver follows your inbound, including the late Miami and Houston banks described in the night-arrival guide.

You can also take an official taxi or, when the airport allows it, a rideshare. Those can cost less on a given day. They are a different product: no one has your flight, and the fare is not settled before you land. The fair comparison is taxi or Uber at night. For a city hotel after a US flight, the prepaid SUV is the one you arrange by email at book@uiotransfers.com, then book on the site with Quito selected.
